First get a working copy of source code files for the project. Files can be downloaded under Source Code tab using
  • classic download of .zip package ("Download" link on the right) or
  • Subversion (SVN, requires additional software, like TortoiseSVN on Windows) with https://cncstudio.svn.codeplex.com/svn

msbuild
msbuild is a command-line tool included in .NET package. Run the following command from the project's root directory (i.e. directory with cnc-studio.sln file)

"%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\MSBuild.exe" client\cnc-studio.csproj /t:Rebuild /p:OutDir=..\bin\ /p:OutputPath=..\bin\ /p:WarningLevel=1;Configuration=Release;Platform="Any CPU" /v:m /m:2 /nologo

If you don't have .NET 4.0 and would like to build with .NET 3.5 you must first change ToolsVersion to 3.5 (see the Visual Studio 2008 chapter below).
Use msbuild from v3.5 folder for .NET 3.5 - "%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\MSBuild.exe".

Alternative, create make.bat in project's root directory and run it.

Visual Studio 2010
Open solution file cnc-studio.sln with Visual Studio 2010 and press F5 to build and run.

Visual Studio 2008
Open cnc-studio.sln in notepad, change Format Version 11.00 to Format Version 10.00, also change 2010 in next line to 2008, save the file.
Open cnc-studio.csproj in notepad, change ToolsVersion="4.0" to ToolsVersion="3.5" and save the file.
Now you can open cnc-studio.sln with Visual Studio 2008. Press F5 to build and run.
